StudiUS was founded by Ramesh Natarajan and Thomas Isaac who have a combined experience of 40 + years in the corporate world. They share a strong belief in the power of education and cultural understanding to not only improve the lives of individuals, but also to foster better relationships between the countries of the world.
Ramesh Natarajan, Managing Director
Ramesh holds a Masters in Management from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, one of the premier business schools in Asia.
He started his career in the Financial Services industry in India, spending 12 years in sales and client service roles.
He then moved on to Strategic and Operational roles in the Knowledge Process Outsourcing industry, working for U.S. based companies such as Thomson Financial, Ocwen Financial Solutions and Marlabs. He was involved in the start up, operational and maintenance phases, responsible for restructuring company operations to meet SLAs and P&L targets. During this time, Ramesh spent two years in New York City, gaining real life experience of the American culture.
For the four years immediately preceding co-founding StudiUS, Ramesh ran a consultancy specialising in community based projects and the hospitality sector.
As Managing Director, Ramesh heads StudiUS and is responsible for all aspects of the operations of the company.
Thomas Isaac, Director
Thomas has a degree in Economics from Madras University, studied Accounting at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, and holds an MBA from Ohio University, graduating as valedictorian of his class.
Thomas has over 20 years of experience in the market research industry. He started his career in India before moving to Vietnam in 2000 to head the Customized Research department for TNS, an international market research agency.
In 2005, he moved to Hong Kong and till 2012, was head of research for TNS' International Research Centre comprising the Hong Kong (and Singapore for a few years) offices, which conducted research in over 120 countries. Thomas has overseen research across all regions of the world and has personally led many global and regional studies for clients based across the world.
In 2013, he co-founded and leads a market research consultancy, Intuit Research, which conducts international research projects for various clients from its offices in Hong Kong and Singapore.
He has been a guest lecturer on market research for the undergraduate and MBA courses at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 2010.
Thomas co-founded StudiUS and advises the company on strategy and communications.
